On March 8th the world celebrated International women’s day, it’s a day that belongs not just to women but to all groups, collectively everywhere. It’s about being tenacious in accelerating gender parity and pressing for progress. At Crown we have some amazing women across all of our divisions. One group that are shining like a beacon is our award winning (all woman) World Mobility team.
There are nine outstanding women in the ‘core’ World Mobility management team, led by our Client Services Manager Sharon Brandt. In 2017 they were confirmed as the ‘best in the business’ at the APAC Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards ceremony in Hong Kong. In association with The Fonterra Cooperative Group they were proud winners of the ‘Best Vendor Partnership’ which recognises vendor relationships that truly support the client organisations strategies and deliver ongoing innovation and relocation solutions.
Crown World Mobility operate as a ‘workgroup’ with everyone being interdependent and work allocated according to each person’s individual strengths and abilities. The common thread is to design and implement cost effective, tailored solutions for corporate clients, big and small. Behind the scenes they are managing and coordinating the delivery of travel, transportation and settlement services, immigration support, education assistance and tenancy services across our global network.
The expectation of our client organisations is that their transferees and assignees can hit the ground running and do the best work of their lives, wherever their work takes them. Our team’s primary goal is to support and deliver on these expectations.
Crown New Zealand are very proud of the women we have in our organisation, as managers and leaders. It’s easy for male dominated workplaces to say that gender equity is a priority but with results like our women are achieving it cannot be denied. This team are an inspiration to everyone and prove that women really are doing it!
