International Transit Insurance

Moving your belongings from one country to another has its own inherent risks. That’s why we offer full international transit insurance to cover any possible damage or loss that may happen due to circumstances beyond our control.

This means that you can relax in the knowledge that you will be reimbursed should the unforeseen happen and something goes wrong during your international shipment.

CrownCare Transit Insurance

Our CrownCare Transit insurance can be arranged prior to your belongings leaving your current home. There are two available options that you can choose from.

Valued Inventory Option. This involves taking a complete inventory of all of your items and determining the full replacement value of each one.
Lump Sum Option. This involves agreeing on a lump sum that includes our assessment and valuation of all of your items without the need to provide individual valuations of each item.

And, because each move is unique, we also offer ‘non-standard” protection that can cover additional issues such mould and mildew, electrical and mechanical derangement, pairs and sets, freezer contents and antiques.

What does Transit protection cover?

Our Transit protection covers your entire belongings while they’re in transit from one location to another. The insurance also covers your goods while they’re in our storage facilities.

If the unforeseen happens and your goods need to stay in our storage facilities for longer than previously booked, we can even arrange an extension to your cover.

Our exceptional Transit protection covers any small or large damage to your belongings including chips, dents, scratches and breakages.

To take advantage of our full transit protection, it’s essential that you have your belongings packed by our professional team.

However, we do offer restricted cover packages for customers who prefer to pack their own belongings.
